We treat cavities at Microclinic following a minimally invasive approach. Our goal isn't just to remove the affected area — it's to do so as gently as possible, preserving healthy tooth tissue wherever the clinical situation allows.
Before treatment, the doctor assesses the tooth and takes an X-ray if needed. The procedure is done under anesthesia, the tooth is always isolated with a rubber dam, and all working steps are performed under a microscope.
Under magnification, the doctor gradually removes the decayed tissue while tracking the boundary between it and the healthy part of the tooth. In some cases, a caries detector dye is also used. This approach avoids widening the cavity unnecessarily or removing healthy tissue "just to be safe."
After cleaning, the tooth is restored with composite material. The doctor recreates its shape, checks the contact with neighboring teeth and the bite, and then finishes the restoration.
Treatment is usually completed in a single visit and takes about 90 minutes. Duration may vary depending on the complexity of the case and the number of teeth involved.

Front Teeth Restoration
Restore the tooth's shape so the restoration doesn't draw attention to itself
Front teeth restoration lets us repair a tooth after a chip, decay, or damage to an old restoration, change its shape, or close an unwanted gap between teeth.
In the front of the mouth, it's not enough to simply rebuild lost volume. We take into account the tooth's shape, color and translucency, surface texture, symmetry, and how the restoration blends into the tooth's own tissue. We also separately check the contact with neighboring teeth and the bite.
Before starting, the doctor assesses the tooth and takes photos, then selects the shape and shade of the future restoration. Anesthesia is used if needed. The tooth is isolated with a rubber dam, and treatment is performed under a microscope.
We work on a minimally invasive basis: if part of the tooth is healthy, there's no reason to remove it just to do the restoration. Only the tissue that's actually necessary for the specific clinical situation is prepared.
The tooth is then rebuilt in layers with composite material. The doctor shapes its anatomy, translucency and surface, checks the bite and contacts, and finishes with a final polish of the restoration.
Restoring a single front tooth usually takes 60–90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the work.

Molar Restoration

Restoring a molar isn't just about filling a defect with material. It's important to rebuild its shape so the tooth works properly during chewing again, contacts neighboring teeth correctly, and doesn't create excess load on the bite.
At Microclinic we follow a minimally invasive approach. We remove or adjust only the tissue that's truly necessary and preserve as much of the tooth's own healthy structure as possible.
Before treatment, the doctor assesses the tooth's condition and the scope of the future restoration. Anesthesia is used if needed. The tooth is always isolated with a rubber dam, and every step is performed under a microscope.
After preparation, the tooth is rebuilt in layers with composite material. The doctor recreates the natural anatomy of the chewing surface and the contact with the neighboring tooth, and checks how the restoration works within the bite.
Finally, the restoration is polished and the result is checked.
